The combination of the long-exposure, the imperfect nature of the camera, and the resulting negative images give them a ghostly yet meditative and melancholic feel. Images from this series are self-portraits documenting myself for a brief moment in time and developed in the bathtub of an apartment I would soon move out of, with literal chemical residue and scratches on the expired photo paper becoming part of the composition.
