The combination of the long-exposure, the imperfect nature of the camera, and the resulting negative images give them a ghostly yet meditative and melancholic feel. Images from this series are self-portraits documenting myself for a brief moment in time and developed in my bathtub, with literal chemical residue becoming part of the composition.
